             FIRST WEEK OF APRIL A MILD DRY PERIOD 
 1st- Windy, Strong NW winds up to 43 mph.
 7th- Strong WNW winds up to 36 mph.
 8th- Windy became colder today with a trace of rain and snow
      showers this evening wind gusts to 33 mph.
                          COLDER
 9th- Windy and much colder High only 41 F. Low 27 F. A few snow
      flurries  overnight and this morning. NW winds up to 35 mph.
10th- Low of 24 F. Up to 70% Damage reported from area orchards.
      Winds kept temperature from going into teens.
                          SOME RAIN
12th- Rain 10:30am - 7:30pm .46" fell. Evening fog.
13th- Light shower just after midnight .01". Windy, NW Winds up 
      to 37 mph today.
15th- Cold Low of 28 F.
17th- Few Periods of light rain 5-7am and 10am- 2pm .03" fell.
18th- Few snow flurries overnight. Very windy today with NW gusts
      up to 40 mph.
20th- Low of 30 F. with a rather heavy frost.
21st- Low of 32 with more frost. Some light rain Noon - 5pm .08".
22nd- Low of 32 with a light to moderate frost.
23rd- Cloudy cool few light showers 7:30am - 10:30am and again
      near midnight .02".
24th- Periods of rain overnight through 2:30pm .17" fell.
25th- Few light showers noon - 2pm. Thunderstorm 3:30 - 4pm
      with very sharp lightning, brief heavy rain and a trace
      of very small hail (smaller than pea). .31" rain fell.
27th- Periods of rain 1pm - midnight .31".
28th- Some rain overnight midnight - 4am .09". Am fog.
