Two years in a row very dry 1909 with 28.82" total precipitation and 1910 with only 27.12". 
During the last half of 1910 each month had well under 2.00" with a total of only 8.49"
for the 6 month period.

1930 had a yearly total of only 24.57" for the driest year ever.

1943 Second driest year ever with only 25.57" of rain.

2001 Third Driest year on record with 26.54" of rain.

1959 through 1969 an 11 year dry spell. Every year but one was way below normal in rainfall 
ranging from 6 to 11 inches below normal except 1967 and that was slightly above normal.

1963 - 1965 each year had precip totals 10.00" or more below normal. That's over 30.00"
below normal for a 3 year period.

1968 was very dry with only 28.93" for the year and that continued half way through 1969.

(An interesting note, the 1960's was the dry decade and in contrast the the 1970's was the 
wet decade. Every year but two was above to way above normal. 1977 & 1978 were still slightly
above normal.)

1910 - MARCH  ONLY .08" FELL IN THE ENTIRE MONTH FOR DRIEST MONTH EVER
       MARCH 1ST TO APRIL 2ND  (33 DAYS) .08" FELL.


1930 - SEP 18 - NOV 29  (73 DAYS) ONLY .67" FELL. LONGEST STRETCH 
       WITH NO RAIN IN THAT PERIOD IS 20 DAYS.  A 42 DAY STRETCH 
       SAW ONLY .25"

1968 - JUN 29 - JUL 24  (26 DAYS) WITH NO MEASUABLE RAIN FOR LONGEST 
       STRETCH EVER WITH NO RAIN.   JUN 29 - JUL 31  (33 DAYS) 
       HAD ONLY .20"

1988 - JUNE 10TH TO JULY 8TH  ONLY .02" IN THE PAST 30 DAYS


1995 - AUG 15 - SEPT 7  (24 DAYS) WITH NO RAIN FOR 3RD LONGEST 
       STRETCH EVER.  AUG 7- SEPT 7  (32 DAYS) WITH ONLY .04" OF RAIN.

1999 - November 3 - 23 (21 Days) with no measurable rain.

2001 - 39 days with only .09" of rain Oct  17th - Nov 24th
       60 days with only .77" of rain Sept 26th - Nov 24th

2005 - SEPT 1 - SEPT 25th (25 DAYS) WITH NO MEASURABLE RAIN. 2ND LONGEST STRETCH EVER.
