Few light showers between 10am-11am, Trace. 2nd: Few light evening showers, trace. Becoming windy. Rain began just after 11pm with a little snow mixed in .06" by midnight. 3rd: Rain, some snow since midnight changed to wet snow by 3AM with only 0.2" of snow on the ground at 7AM. Snow & rain ended by 10AM. .41" melted. 4th: Some light rain and drizzle 3:30pm - 5pm .02" 8th: Rain began 5AM this morning. Rain all day moderate at times, more of a drizzle late this afternoon and evening. Total .75" by midnight. 9th: Rain 1am through 11am. Gusty south winds this morning to 29 mph. Rain again this evening 5pm - 9pm total .95". Mild today high of 64 F. Became windy from west this evening gusts to 30 mph. MUCH COLDER WINDY 10th: Strong NW winds overnight and colder gusts to 36 mph. Very windy and cold all day with more gusts to 36 mph wind chills in the teens and single digits. Also a few snow flurries today and this evening. 11th: Windy and very cold today high only 32 F. with NW winds gusting as high as 37 mph again making wind chills near zero. Snow squalls late this evening dusted the ground. 12th: Windy and cold again today NW gusts up to 35 mph. VERY WINDY 14th: Few light snow and rain showers with gusty winds this morning. Became very windy today from NW as strong cold front came through with many wind gusts of 35+ mph with a peak gust of 43 mph at 1:13pm. 17th: Few periods of very light sleet and drizzle late this afternoon. Some more light rain late this evening .01" by midninght. RAIN 18th: Light rain overnight .26" at 7am. Periods of rain all day with some Heavier amounts this evening. Total 1.07" today. Evening fog 19th: Rain midnight - 3am .09" Became sunny and warmer today. Dense evening Fog. HEAVY RAIN / THUNDERSTORMS 20th: Dense fog overnight. Rain began 2:30pm. Rain and series of thunderstorms this evening with heavy downpours and some very sharp close lightning strikes knocked out power in some sections of town. 1.74" of rain had fallen by midnight. 21st: Rain continued overnight with some storms just after midnight and some heavy downpours. Light rain and drizzle continued most of the day. Snow began mixing with rain late this evening but no accumulations .77' fell today, 2.51" from storm system, 3.68" this week. 22nd: Cloudy windy and cold today with a few snow flurries. NW winds gusts to 31 mph. SOME SNOW 24th: Wet snow fell today 8am - 1pm and was moderate in intensity at times snow accumulated to 0.1" but quicky melted as sun came out briefly and temp shot up to 46 F. Another period of rain and snow late this afternoon then temp fell into mid 30's again. .18" melted precip. MUCH WARMER 26th: Beautiful warm sunny day high of 73 F. EARLY HEAT WAVE / RECORD HIGH TEMPS 27th: RECORD HIGH 85 F. Very warm day. Beat old record of 83 in 1921. 28th: Very warm again today 82 F. But not a record which was 86 in 1989. 29th: High of 85 F. Tied the record of in 1907. 30th: ALL TIME RECORD HIGH FOR MARCH 89 F. Beat record for date of 87 in 1986. This was the Highest Temperature Ever Recorded in March beating the old record of 88 in 1907 on Mar. 22 & 23. 31st: Record High 85 F. Broke the 1986 High temp of 81.
