July was 2nd Hottest ever with an average of 78.7 F. It beat 1987 which up untill this point was the second hottest ever. The Hottest was 1955 with a 79.2 f. Avg. July also had the 2nd most 90 Degree days with a total of 19. 1988 August 14th Record High 97 F. beat 95 in 1943. Today tied the record for the most 90 degree days in a row of 18 set in 1966. August 15th EXTREME RECORD HEAT 103 F. beat old rec of 96 in 1944. New 90 degree Streak!! 19 in a row. August 17th Record High 102 F. beat 98 in 1987. Was very Hot today even with cloud cover with very Hot evening temps still 90 F. at midnight, Never seen that before! August 18th Temp of 90 F. at midnight was the high for the day and this will be the last 90 degree day in a row but a brand new record set of 22 days in a row of 90 degrees or higher. HOTTEST AUGUST EVER with an average of 77.5 F.beating the old record of 77.0 on 1900. The Last 13 days were below normal and it was still the Hottest on Record, WOW! SUMMER of 1988 tied the record for the HOTTEST ever which was set just last year 1987. The Average was 75.6 F. Crazy!
