Gusty winds this afternoon between 4:30pm -5pm to 32 mph from nearby showers and thunderstorms that dissipated. No rain fell but a nice drop in temperature. THUNDERSTORMS TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS 7th: Partly cloudy very warm and humid high 88 F. Small thunderstorm developed overhead at 5:30pm grew and sat over the area and dropped 1.00" of rain in 30 minutes. More storms moved in and dropped more heavy rain with another 1.78" of rain in less than 1 hour. Some gusty winds with that storm to 36 mph. Flooded streets, yards and basements reported. A light shower late this evening. Total rain today 2.79". TONS OF RAIN 8th: Few light showers and some drizzle overnight. Cloudy and much cooler today with rain and breezy conditions.
